Lead Clearances
Quality Service from a Lead Survey Consulting Firm
Have you recently conducted a Lead Abatement or Remediation project? This tedious and often-dangerous work requires that a building is certified with a Lead Clearance granted by the California Department of Public Health Lead Sampling Assessor. The Assessor conducts the Lead Clearance Inspection to ensure that our professional recommendations were closely followed during the Lead Abatement project. The Assessor will also determine whether lead dust levels are within acceptable ranges for the treated areas.
At American Environmental Group, we are committed to not only helping you detect the presence of high lead concentrations, but we also provide effective recommendations and solutions that can help eradicate the problem for good. Our team is dedicated to helping you remove the lead problem from your home or business, and our recommendations are individually-tailored to help you pass your final inspection and obtain your Lead Clearance.

What Does It Take to Receive a Lead Clearance?
The Housing and Urban Development guidelines provide different recommendations for the amount of dust wipe samples to collect according to where and how large your project is.
For renovation and/or repair that occurred within a dwelling with no containment, HUD recommends a minimum of two dust samples from at least four rooms in the dwelling should be collected:
- One interior floor sample
- One interior window sill or window trough sample
- One common-area floor sample should be collected for every 2,000 square feet.
We are familiar with the various standards and recommendations that the EPA and HUD utilize in order to issue your clearance. Our solutions are offered with these requirements in mind to ensure that they’ll be successful.
